Dunno why this place was quite an almost empty when my family and I went here for a lunch. A big NCAA football game was playing, which I had to force myself away from with the family. Maybe this place needs to offer game specials or at least advertise it as a great casual game-watching spot it looks to be. Or maybe I missed something there. The sign for the place is right on on the road next to another eatery, but the place is located behind it in a tired-looking strip mall. But don't let the outside looks deceive you. The inside is casual kitschy sporty casual feel - a great place to have some drinks, eat some good food, and watch a game. I picked this place because I wanted fried chicken and I didn't want to venture too far for the SS neighborhood. You Yelpers were spot on to note this place for fried chicken. You want some you can get some here. They have half order (2pieces with one side) and full order (4 pieces with two sides) options. Fried chicken was pretty good saw as the apple sauce and linden kugel (sp). Onion rings were good but the fries were meh. Solid spot. Now I know a good fried chicken place in the neighborhood when I need one.

Its been 2 1/2 yr since my original review. Went through to see if was rating consistently in the "early days" My family has been going here for 5+ yrs. I had not been here in about 3 months. ( I think that is they go while I am not in town) Still very good; Service excellent . Ok son is getting boring -- he is stuck on their chicken finger app ( 4 large piece es for $6) + side of fries - if you read my reviews this is consistent wife and I had the fried shrimp and oyster ( email Special) with two side = GREAT. 3 people $45 inc soft drink before tip - downright bargain. Sign up on their web site for their weekly email specials on previous visits favs have been: lamp chops; Caesar Burger ; BEEF ribs; brisket ; blackened fish sandwich is a regular fav of mine consistently good. YES 4 star !

First off can I just laugh at the few reviews commenting on the amount of elder people here ---older people gotta eat too and since when do we criticize businesses for having different age crowds. I mean if you are looking for a club then go to a club. A family restaurant welcomes all ages where I grew up. If food is good and service is good that's what I'll be reviewing not the age of the folks here. This is good old fashioned bar and grille with comfortable casual feel and a real flare for some comfort food. It's a casual place so leave the dressy attire at home and pick up your big boy napkin bc your gonna need it if you eat the caesar burger dripping with ooh googy dressing I felt like Zimmerman on the food network putting this goodness in my mouth. I'm not a big burger eater but I cleared my plate here. And the onion rings I was convinced to try we're the best I've ever had. The health score is a whopping 99 which is hard to find these days and I'll def be returning to this jewel hidden off Roswell rd.

Went to The Brickery yesterday for lunch for the first time. The service and food was great, but like others mentioned earlier it was a little over priced for what you get. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich. It wasn't what I expected, but it was still great. Basically it was brisket that had been cooked in a bbq/gravy broth of some sort served on a hamburger bun. The sandwich was very good. We also had the crab cake appitizer which was very good as well. It was lump crab meat with very little breading like you find at most places. Overall, The Brickery is a nice little restaurant that offers some pretty good food. I would certainly return.

A yummy lunch spot in the Sandy Springs/Roswell Rd. corridor. Today, I lunched with a longtime client (well, former client these days as I quit my sales job a few months ago, but I still think of him in old terms). We always used to meet for business lunches at The Brickery and still do. If you go at 11:30 you usually just beat the crowd; by noon the place is pretty packed! The menu is good stuff - Southern-style (but not in the old "Po' Folks" variety) options plus good sandwiches, burgers and salads - and they do specials like 30% off if you order something you've never had before. Special hint: they only DON'T give you the discount if you're a regular who eats there four days a week and is so predictable that you never need a menu and your server can bring your sweet tea before your fanny hits the booth seat and doesn't bother bringing you a menu! Their grilled chicken sandwich with swiss (I recommend also adding their super yummy bacon) is delicious and the meat totally fills the bun (wheat or sesame seed is available). Burgers are great and as at least one other reviewer mentioned, their caesar burger is a top pick. The chicken fingers are great- get them as a dish with fries or on the very generous salad (lots of greens, cheese, cucs, etc). The chicken salad croissant sandwich is yummy, and they always have one or more veggie of the day to round out their standard picks and you won't go wrong with the squash casserole. I also echo the other endorsements of the fried chicken!! Go early for good parking, enjoy your meal, and marvel at the fact that this little family owned spot brings the credit-card machines to the table when you're ready to pay your tab!
